Site Organization

A brief note before we get started -- this will sound more complicated than it is. Bear with me until the end. It will all make sense. Trust me.

Also, the organization of this site is one way to go about setting up a class site. In creating this organization, I have attempted to make the sections of the site as broad/flexible as possible while still providing enough specificity to create a meaningful example. There are many ways of doing it right, and individual teachers might/will want to modify this structure. However, using this structure can have you up and running with your class site fairly quickly.

To create some logical structure to the site, the following subjects (in Drupal-speak, these are "terms") have been created:

For Blog Posts:

• From the teacher
• Work for review

For Photo Galleries:

• Photos for Review
• Student Photos

For Forums:

• Assignments
• Class Notes
  
• Group Work
  
• Help
  

For Pages and  Book Pages:

• Teacher
• Student
