About the class site

This site is a core drupal install with a few contributed modules to extend the functionality. The contributed modules include:

• Bookmarks -- this module allows users to store lists of useful bookmarks
• HtmlArea -- enables the text editor used when creating posts
  
• Image -- allows for the creation of photo albums
  
• Legal -- allows the site admin to set terms and conditions for using the site.  In an academic setting, this could be useful to remind students of class expectations and of key elements of a technology Acceptable Use Policy
  
• Quotes -- allows the students and the teacher to create and share a list of significant quotations.
  
• Scheduler -- allows students and teachers to schedule when a post will go live. As the site ships, this is not enabled.
  
• Userplus -- this custom module designed by FunnyMonkey simplifies administering users
  
• Webform -- creates online forms and surveys to get responses from users
  
• Workspace -- allows each user to see their posts made on the site
